MCC pellets are composed merely by microcrystalline cellulose (MCC).

Characteristics:

• White or almost white spnerical pellets
• Sugar free pellets and offer a good alternative for sugar sensitive users.
• High physico-chemical inertness, so it is of benefit to the stability of finished products.
• Insoluble in water and low osmotic pressure
• Minmum diameter 0.2 mm
• Inert for drug release rate.

Application:

MCC pellets are special for sugar sensitive user during formulation deaign or production.As critical pharmaceutic adjuvant, MCC pellets are used as cores to be coated in the manufacture of controlled-release or sustained-release formulations,which could be coated with API’s suspension or solution,having a uniform assay.
